Interesting
A static route to a proxy server at the NOC would do that. Static routes at the NOC would be high security risk, because could be hijacked to another proxy which would give a chosen few, first priority to the gateway over all the other captured clients.
The optimizer is the Key to this. (You can turn it off) You have to reformat your hard drive and reinstall the OS. Then install your internet security on you PC and finally lock down your router that attaches to you satellite modem. Then you have a (clean system) which gets it internet address from the Wild blue server.
I figured this out in the first 2 weeks of having Wild blue over three or more years ago. Anyway I have had good advertised service from Wild blue with no prime time slow downs. I fine it interesting that there is a new speed text out but the only thing you have to do to use it is turn off your Fire Wall.
