I have no icons, avitars, etc. on this site

Hi,

I have a new computer (Vista Home Premium sp1). I no longer have the site toolbar in the upper left corner (with the icons). I also no longer have the blue arrow that shows where I left off.

Also missing are the the click me smileys, the number which shows how busy a forum is and the icon for "see profile" of someone. I have flash and sun java and shockwave, so I don't understand why I'm not seeing these items. Silverlight came preinstalled.

I just checked the site with IE7 (not allowing scripts) and I have the icons and other items.

I am using Seamonkey. I believe my Seamonkey settings are the same in XP and Vista. Can anyone help me get these features back?

Thank you.

Sincerely, Libra

Mats

Something in your Seamonkey settings on the vista computer is not letting you see images. Go through your Seamonkey preferences and see where you can change that.

Re: I have no icons, avitars, etc. on this site

Hi Mats,

I checked Seamonkey>preferences>"images" . I had originally selected accept images that come from the originating server only and I had put dslreports.com to allow all images.

When I changed that to "allow all images" I got my icons, avitars, blue arrow and smilies back.

Edit: I got the site toolbar back also! I didn't see it at first.

I wonder why allowing dslreports separately didn't work.

I want to thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely, Libra

The images come from i.dslr.net.

Glad you got things working

It's a pleasure having all my feature back again.

I put i.dslr.net into the manage image area in case I ever want to change the main setting for images.

Thank you again.

Sincerely, Libra
