Re: SS5200 - administration connectivity issues

I was waiting too long before releasing the button.

When it blinks, release. It works! Thanks.

On a side note, it's shame that one cannot run in bridge mode and keep the admin console

You are Welcome! Glad that it turned out to be an easy fix.

The 5200 can be setup just like the 4200 Bell FAQ shows (it is seen in the Log as "Current Mode: Bridge-Router"), then you would need to know how to/have hardware capable of adding a Static Route to the Private LAN IP (aka »192.168.254.254 or whatever the LAN IP is for your 5200) and allow it out of your chosen hardware on the WAN Interface. There are some consumer class Routers that cannot do this, so verify the capabilities of any Router before purchase.

What’s the point of owning a supercar if you can’t scare yourself stupid from time to time?

I'm thinking my Tomato MLPPP setup can do this as it's doing this using my current DLink 2320B. My LAN (10.x.x.x) and modem IP (192.168.x.x) are different.

I'm able to log in and see the stats of my ADSL connection and keep the benefits of MLPPP.
