robscullion posted : I'll ask again before transitioning to another service. I really have liked the service and the pricing on the VoIP isn't so far out of wack when compared to Verizon or Comcast.

robscullion posted : After around 7 years as a happy Speakeasy customer, I called today to cancel my service in favor of Comcast HSI. Just couldn't justify the price for the speed I was getting now that I've ditched my home server. I could have dropped to a cheaper, residential package but I'd still have been paying way too much for 1.5/384. Plus, I'd have had to drop the VoIP service anyway as that's only offered on OneLink.

It's a shame they don't offer their VoIP product as a general broadband service, a-la Vonage. I'd probably have kept that as it's price is pretty reasonable for what you get. I know they wouldn't be able to do QoS on infrastructure they don't own, but I'd have liked to have been given the option to try it anyway.
