(Time of call to tech June 12 7:10AM) Just got off the phone with tech support requesting them to open up a ticket for this. The tech support rep said I had nothing to worry about and did not open a ticket. He assured me I had nothing to worry about.

I don't know about that. Good thing those tech support calls are recorded.

While I'm not enlightened with Cogeco's internal policies, most domestic companies use them to determine quality of service for their CSR's, not 'protect' thsemselves.
