I spoke with over 20 courteous Verizon Reps yesterday, none of which resolved any issue or took my money. I was disconnected 3 times and no call back. I was provided the following numbers ...
none led to a resolution.
I asked for an address I could go to to make payment. Verizon doesn't do that anymore. How could so many reps be so comfortable not resolving a simple problem.
I tried both Verizon online chat and the Verizon Direct Forum here ... any guesses as to outcome?
I finally called the FiOS number and pressed the cancellation option. Verizon efficiently routed me to the copper cancellation department where I spoke with a rep that was not only courteous, but competent. She discovered my card number and expiration date were on file but no CVV number. Verizon won't process a payment without one. Unfortunately, she was unable to make changes in the FiOS database.
I finally mailed payment. Any odds on whether it will be applied to my account? Considering I'm 3 or 4 months behind, I do want to thank Verizon for not cutting service.
