So embarq tells me they are no longer supporting firmware for this router and 2wire keeps referring me back to embarq. So is it going to be impossible to get a firmware upgrade?
What it means is that Embarq is not going to pay 2wire to create a new release. Considering the age of that modem, you'd be better off getting a newer one.
