let's look more closely at the numbers
Feb 1st ( just before Congress passed the delay ) 5.1% not ready.
June 7th( 5 days befor transition ) 2.5% not ready.
In otherwords 50% of those not ready on February 1st STILL are not ready despite being given an extra 4 months. This is somehow considered a "success". I bet if the original date had been kept the % of households that were not ready on June 7th would be nearly 0%.
It's even worse than that really of the 50% that did get ready half of those did so between Feb 1st and March 1st. Since then not so much.
Of those not ready on March 1st 65% still never bothered to get ready despite having 3 1/2 months to do so.
Just proves what I said 4 months ago. People will procrastiante as long as you allow them to do so. Good thing they didn't pass another delay. Otherwise we'd be here until Christmas waiting for the laggards to get ready. |
