40/20? Dsl got no game...

40/20 should be Entry level (and 100% deployable across the footprint) for DSL in 2009.
However, this is Qwest we're talking about, nevermind.

Uh, the only copper so far that supports those types of speeds is VDSL/VDSL2, which need nodes every 3k feet for that kind of speed.

ADSL2+ maxes out at 24/3.5 or 24/1 depending on which equipment is used.

Personally, 40/20 are pretty good speeds; FiOS tops out at 5020.

100%? Some people will still be stuck at 1.5 because I don't think Qwest is going to 3000feet loop all existing DSL subscribers, even the 1.5 ones.
