| Do NOT Recommend Xplornet I signed up for Xplornet 11 months ago – the service has been nothing but UNRELIABLE! It goes down very frequently – I had to reboot my entire system at least 4-6 times per week. Then about a month ago – they decided to completely move the tower – without notifying me. I was without internet for over 24 hrs when I phoned them – and was told it was something on their end and my system would automatically reconnect once it was fixed on their end – it didn’t – so after another 96 hrs without internet – I phoned AGAIN…and was told that … no the problem was on my end and they would have to get someone to come out – which would take at least another 96 hours. In the end it would have been a full week without internet – with no notification.
So I cancelled my account due to lack of service and them not living up to their end of the contract – this resulted in them putting through over $500 on my credit card – which I am in the process of trying to get reversed, just to find out they don’t even keep signatures on file for the credit cards that they charge.
I am really wondering what type of company this actually is – I would not recommend Xplornet to anyone! |
