Re: Lots of red X's after firmware update

It's been about or over a week since the fallback, I just wanted to inform everyone that there is no improvement in normal web browsing as of yet for me.

Speeds are fine as mentioned, just normal browsing is slow, plagued with timeouts, incomplete page loading, and dns errors.

I've a feeling that nothing's going to improve until the undo whatever they did with the "Inroute Groups" .. the firmware update seemed to have little affect on me. It was the Inroute Group change two days earlier when the problems started.

An update:
I got another call today(while at work) and was told that they reverted back to the older firmware and everything looked good on my end and of course they don't guarantee speed. Case ID closed.
Anyway, it doesn't matter much now ,as it looks like I'm going to
get DSL (Dry Pair DSL) service soon at 29.95/mo for 1.5 meg service.
Since my billing period is up tomorrow, I just went ahead and canceled my account.
They did offer service at a reduced rate of $35 a month, but I declined. So its' so long Hughesnet.
Using my tethered sprint cell until DSL is hooked up.

Someone needs to call the American division of support or the offices and inform them that there are other factors affecting browsing besides the firmware.

Namely the inroute group, and the firewall that is now enabled at the Noc..

I believe you're misinterpreting what you see. Check Firewall/General Stats. Then look again at Firewall/General Config. Perhaps you'll reconsider that conclusion
