| Don't be a jaded pompous fool. You don't seem to understand how little of an impact the "wars" that the US are involved in have affected people back home or even in other countries, especially when compared to conflicts like WW2, Vietnam or the Cold War.
Your intense cynicism doesn't devalue the sincerity of more youthful people. |

Way to take a world view, guy. And, by the way, I'm totally sincere--guess that means I'm "youthful", too. But, really, calling someone "heroic" because they play sports--perhaps even being good at it--is almost as "sincere" as calling someone an "idiot" for not sharing your personal view.
