| Last weekend for my machine army of crunchers.
Monday morning starts the process of putting the labs and teachers machines in storage for a few months. Ug.
That includes printers, overhead projectors, access points on the walls, etc. Weeeee
Two buildings are going to be repainted and carpeted this summer. Last week in Aug I'll be running around like a nut trying to get everything plugged back in and re-imaged. That is if the contractors finish on time.. lol
My little band of home machines will still crunch right along,
but my dreams of catching up to Bill and Lil will be put on hold for a few..  {grin}
Don't worry... we will be back in action full speed ahead in the fall...

the lake today. Just got home.
The kids are all nice and tired out from swimming all day

This may also give you the opportunity to do any Preventive Maintenance on those machines (Cleaning out the "Dust Bunnies", Checking the Fans, etc.) a few at a time, at Your convenience.
(If you still have access to them, that is)... That will be one less thing you'll have to do when the time comes to Re-Deploy them...

| Yeah I need to take the air hose to all of them before we put them all back. Chuck full of dust in the fans and all over the heatsinks fins as well.
That must be an HP design feature.
I have a ghost console box that I need to upgrade in another building, then update images for desktops and laptops, then roll them all out. I'm sure the contractors will finish everything at the last min like they did last year in one of our other buildings, August is going to be crazy... |
