Re: Shaw blocking all incoming ports? Well, looks like shaw isn't blocking incoming ports now, but most outgoing traffic. http, https and ssh all do not work. ie. www.google.ca does not load, however if I do a traceroute, it tapes a second or so and then spits out the info.
I'll be calling shaw pretty quick here to see if they know what's going on. I don't think they were intentionally blocking ports at this point. Though it could be that they are trying new ways of throttling p2p traffic (and failing, most miserably.) For the record, I haven't been doing any of this for the past week now, and have tried several different firewalls/routers/network cables, etc. |
