Powerboost gives everyone this sense of having a crapload of speed, etc, when in reality it is all just a short lived burst of speed. In the early morning I have seen over 21 megs from the Clifton , NJ site... it is all relative. Time of day...number of users online, the server that you are trying to test at, etc... I don't think that the brand of modem really plays into this very much. |

Likely the network in my area is not facing the same congestion that it looks like it is having in other areas. Speculating it may be due to the fact that Turbo is 8 down 512 up here. A download off a good server like steam will start at 30 then drop to a steady 8.2 |
