1 edit | A few quick question for Acana Voip - It's great so far.
Hi,
Been using Acana's VOIP for a bit and the service has been great and the support friendly...so everything is good .... so far. Just joking I like Acana. :0)
I have two questions:
1) I'm looking to tighten up my firewall so I was wondering if anyone knows the port ranges Acana uses. I take it that it's port "5060" maybe "5061" for the SIP and port "10000 to 20000" for the RTP (voice). Can anyone shed some light on this?
The other question
2) I setup my account with using my personal name which now appears on the CID (Caller ID). Now I'd to change this to be my business name which means I have to change the name on the account. Does anyone know if they'll do this or not. My cell phone is my primary business number but on the rare occasion that I do make calls I'd like my business name to appear. I don't consider this a business account because I won't be making anything near 50 distinct new calls each month.
Thanks for the info.

| Please, check on *FAQ* and *COMMUNITY* forum, there are many threads regarding VOIP settings.
Question 2. Send an e-mail to support@acanac.com and ask about phone ID settings. I believe, it should be no problem display to be changed in server side if your ATA setting could not create the wanted display to the opposite side. Thanks -- We Rock |
