Laptop Stands for use in a Reclying couch...

So this is a bit of a tough question...

I have been using a portal lap desk for a laptop stand for a few years now. It's great it's 18 inches across and 10 inches deep. I can fit my 17" widescreen laptop and a mouse on it no problem.

Problem: My legs can't take it anymore. I've been told that my soreness is due to the presure of the laptop on my lap all the time and this will cause some preety decent harm if I don't stop.

Joy.

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a couch potatoe. I like to work on side projects while the TV is on and my wife's sitting next to me on the couch. It's family time (ish).

So Anyone know a good laptop table I can get to work with a couch that's a Laziboy Reclyner? There's no space for feet to get under as the legs go up.

Maybe you can find a cutting board wide enough to fit across the arms of the recliner and use it as a table.
