URGENT mojo and prayer needed right away, he is headed into surgery:
My dear little nephew, Collin, has some sort of mass in his brain. They suspected something because he was favoring one side of his body. They don't yet know what it is I think but we are all very worried and afraid.
I am supposed to go home to see all my nephews which is normally a very happy time for me, but to see my youngest nephew in trouble hurts like hell in my heart.
I am so sorry to have to come back to the well so soon after the other two crises. Dave is somewhat better but we now know he has congestive heart failure, possible diabetes, and a few other serious conditions.
My guinea pig looks like she may be on the way out, too, she isn't eating like normal, and she has to eat to get her water because she refuses to drink out of the water bottle.
Alain is doing better, but I am still understandably nervous.
What's next, I ask myself? Old lady Hardesty, my old boss's mother would tell me: "now Mark! don't tempt the fates!"
So here I am, coming to the well again, asking for prayers and mojo and positive energy.

Mark. I am so sorry you have too much on your plate, how old is your nephew? Children are so brave when they are sick. This saddens me so. You and all your loved ones are in my prayers, God Bless You and may may he keep you strong.

He's around 2, he just had his birthday. I always called him my big bruiser, he IS a tough kid and I know he has a fighting chance. But I am scared. My brother's marriage has already had challenges, Lord I hope this turns out ok.

He is at a special children's hospital with a special neurological team. I don't have any updates yet, my family is just trying to hold it together right now. As I write this I recall last Winter with him falling asleep in my arms, he stole my heart in an instant with that, Lord I hope he will make it ok.

Major mojo on the way. My neighbor's kid went through two brain surgeries and radiation for a (benign) tumor. He's completely recovered, if that gives you and your family some hope.

1 edit | Thanks Erin. I am really stressed just sitting here waiting to hear word. I am supposed to go home on the 2nd to stay for a week and a half, but to go home under the unspeakable would be horrible.
Not everybody is close to their family, but for me, my nephews, several of which are adopted, mean the world to me. It's a big deal when I get to come home and see all my boys. Collin is special to me because I have never had a child fall asleep in my arms before, everybody was touched by it. He is a community child in that everybody held him, fed him, fussed over him, we all have felt especially close to him.
I hope my little bruiser comes out shining.
