The most common problems that I have seen were first with data transfers, when a user would copy multiple files to a USB key (I remember a couple were Kingston models) and the system would disconnect the drive unexpectedly causing the transfer to fail. Also, one user had problems burning DVDs. I suspect this may have been caused by a buffer underrun problem or something where the Rogers software is interfering with the data flow.
Another common type of problem was in Vista OS systems where the Device Manager link under Tasks in the System menu would no longer work. This is caused by a conflicting shell extension within the Windows registry. If you are using Vista Home SP2 edition and have the Rogers software loaded, I suggest you check your computer to see if this link is broken.
All the problems were resolved after removing the ROP program. |
