Change the channel to Channel 1, two neighbours were also using 6. I think the cordless phone we have is a 900mhz one, its very old.

When I read that link you gave me, it said WEP can take away 10-15% of the speed. Right now my speed is way slower than it should be, even if you take that into consdieration, but I will change it to WPA to see if it makes a difference.

No wireless home security
No wireless security cameras
2 other wireless networks that are running on channel 6.
