Each customer's DSLAM is mapped to a specific Vlan on a specific ERX. Changing an IP wouldn't change the ERX. It may change the specific route deeper in depending on how the routing tables are set up though.

 It would not by default change the ERX assignment, but if you're having issues with your IP assignment, call in. The DHCP/MAC registration system may not be properly synchronizing your account, causing issues.

Also, we're way off from exhausting our pool of IPs. Yes IPv6 is coming, but you'll hear about the transition long before it gets that desparate...
