yeah, looks like a cabling issue, as there are spikes at the last hop to your modem. I'd book a service call so the tech can look for noise/packet loss caused by bad house wiring, or possibly node issues. |

I do get some spikes, what do you think?
I checked other results from people on Shaw cable, and most of them don't get the results I get, they get almost 100% green bars all the time.
=\
Did one 5 minutes ago, here. »/linequality/nil/2532232 |

| Recently I've had some issues with Shaw. In games people are telling me that I appear skippy, and in the course of about 10 minutes I'll get one or two "CONNECTION INTERRUPTED" messages which last about a second, or about half a second.
It's getting a bit ridiculous, I also get higher pings then I should to most places, and if I ping yahoo.com, the pings go from 40 to 60 to sometimes 120.
I'm running a Dlink router with QoS enabled, all my game packets have first priority.
I really think it's Shaw, and right now I'm VERY close to going DSL (Which in this case would be Bell). I never remembered having any type of issues like this with Bell.
Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Any tests I can run and post here?
Thanks! |
