Re: SB6120 - Time is wrong

What is the time ?

Is it the default of 1970-01-01 00:00: something ?

Was it ever correct ?

The modem needs to talk to the T.O.D. (Time Of Day) server to be able to display the current and correct time.

The server may be offline, or for whatever the reason, the modem is not able to receive that information from it.

If you are indeed referring to standard vs. daylight savings time, modems can't differentiate that and will display standard time.

Either way, it is really not something to be concerned with other than having the correct time stamps on the error log entries.

In no way does it have any affect on connectivity.

My ISP (Comcast) claims they do not do firmware updates on modems.
Whichever CSR told you that is totally clueless !!
