Verizon New Jersey POTS question...

Anyone in NJ notice that variable call forwarding is only sending out one call at a time? I have a customer that is an answering service and they're complaining that their customers can't send two calls at time -- the 2nd attempt while the first one is ongoing gets a busy signal. When we call the CFN directly, we can stack up as many calls as the ACD can accept. Problem started this month (June).

TIA!

Re: Verizon New Jersey POTS question...

Rocky,

Verizon Provides RFC with a designated number of call Paths so one number being forwarded can have from 1 to 99 Call paths on it.

Maybe your Call Path set up fell off if this just started happening in June. Just a guess, weirder things have happened at Verizon

Call the repair line an Specialist should be able to type the correction in 30 minutes, but it will take at least a day for them to figure it out.
