Re: Gigaset US Update

I haven't been able to get the VMWI to turn on when there are new voicemails at my VOIP provider though. I use Future Nine and VMWI feature is turned on in the online control panel. Has anyone had any luck configuring it?

Hello All,

I'm looking to buy the A580IP and bring it to Korea. Does anyone know if I can buy one in the US with 220v plugs or if anyone can recommend an after-market power supply?

Has all the issue been worked out regarding the firmware?

Thanks.

Elvisk

I forgot to ask where can I find the US customer support? I looked on the Gigiset website and did not see numbers.

Careful! The unit may transmit on frequencies that have not been approved for this use in Korea.

You might have a better luck finding them in Asian countries. I recently saw several Siemens in a Singaporean chain-store flyer, Siemens seem to be less elusive in Asia. I have been waiting to try free HDSP calls with relatives in Malaysia.

On the subject of frequencies, does "NOT approved" also equate to "NOT working"? Or the unit will work but "NOT legal"?
