| I'm having this problem with my thin client. I chatted with them twice yesterday and had to have them reset my account. They had me rerun the latest update and then it comes up with broken storage. When I run MJ on my older computer with XPsp3 I have no problems. So knowing more about your setup may help the more advanced users help you find a solution. Good luck sabresfan |

@cablelynx.com | I just now tried it on my wireless laptop.....same thing. Both are running Windows XP-SP3. I have had MJ several months and only used it less than 10 times.........so it isn't from over-use. |

| reply to jwells I use a powered USB hub where I plug my MJ in. I recently moved the USB port where the hub plugs in. When I restarted my computer, I got the error 401 message and tried rebooting several times with no luck in solving the problem. I ran the "update" utility from MJ's webpage and that immediately solved the problem. |

| reply to jwells I have fixed the error on my thin client now. I never had the error on my desktop. I went through and deleted all the MJ files and started from scratch. It showed the dongle on the screen showing downloading for a few minutes then showed the lucky you upgrading screen. It wanted to have me reregister for a moment until my phone number appeared on the top of the softphone. I verified my email and password and it's worked great since. I had to redo my voicemail message but that was it. MJ tech support was pretty useless for me in this department but at least they were friendly. I hope this helps. I had them reset my account twice the other day and this fixed it only until I restarted my thin client. It's working great now so I'm done messing with it or at least until the next upgrade. |

@cox.net | reply to jwells if the 401 is the SIP error from the underlying transport in MJ, then it means authentication failure. So, MJ might have changed password for the user and updating it should resolve the problem.
Refer to rfc3261 for various SIP error codes. |
