You would have to be able to send the reset button command to the modem. For example, the page link to the reset button is: »192.168.0.1/reset_device.htm , but that won't reset the modem until the reset button is pushed. I haven't looked at the components of that page enough to see if there is a simple link that will reset the modem.

I am wanting to get a new Public IP address and I know that by restarting the modem, either by powering the unit down or by using the GUI interface and pressing the Disconnect and then the Restart Button a new Public IP address is assigned. I am open to other ways of accomplishing this, I just need it to be in a .bat file, so any suggestions are welcome.

What do you intend for the modem restart to accomplish? I am trying to come up with a way to restart my AT&T version Speedstream 4100 modem through a .bat file. I have attempted to use CLI through telnet using the SpeedStream5200FTP.exe method (as found at '»broadbandreports.net/faq/sbc/3.1···00#15732') and have not been able to get the command line prompt (xsh>). I have installed the WinPcap and VB requirements. I am not sure how to proceed or if there may be an easier method to what I am trying to do. I realize more information may be needed and I will be happy to provide what ever anyone may need to help me.
