900 mhz Canopy

I have motorola 900 mhz canopy wireless internet. I am having problems with web pages not loading all the way. Taking 2 or 3 tries to download simple email. My provider says my connection with his tower is fine its local interferance on my end. I ran ping plotter for a while. Can some one tell me where my problem is from this picture? The 192.168.1.1 is my router. Thanks for any help.

Re: 900 mhz Canopy

Looks like you're screwed...

900mhz travels great distances through objects, so it could be a baby monitor or older cordless phone or if you are unlucky a SCADA system.

The WISP should be seeing the connection specifics, you could try to contact them and see if they could give you your link stats, write them down and post them here.

Basically it sounds like your WISP is not willing to help you. It is just too much trouble for them to track down the source of interference when they can't likely do much about it anyway, and lets face it you don't pay them enough per month to make it worth their time spending a whole day or to or three trying to track down the problem.

You could do the legwork yourself however -

Personally I would buy this:
»ubnt.com/airview/
»www.google.com/products?q=airview9&hl=en

Then you might have a chance of tracking down the issue and offer to buy your neighbor a new 5.8ghz cordless (best case theoretical)

OR ask your WISP how tall of a tower you need to build in your backyard to get above the trees and see if you can use 2.4Ghz or 5.8Ghz to connect to them

Have any cordless phones? What frequency do they use? Pretty sure anything other than DECT will interfere with a 900MHz system since even 2.4 and 5.8 GHz phones will mess with the 900MHz band as well...
