I have the same problem with my new Dell notebook. In the OEM configuration it would take up to 4 minutes (yes, four) to fully boot. I had to uninstall a ton of stuff to get it to a usable state. Shutdowns were brutal too. Windows 7 RC was a better but it was still unacceptable. -- POKE 65495,1
