I worry about my wife,she works in the north end at Northwood. Due to the labour shortage she ends up working 12hr. and 16hr. shifts,so she is walking to her car at all hours of the night. |

Yeah I saw the coloured part, I haven't been to Halifax in a decade but didn't recall it as being racially diverse so I was wondering if these were new arrivals or just part of the local scenery. We have several new ethnic gangs here in Ottawa that tend to taint some perceptions, particularly the new Somali arrivals (aka Ledbury-Crips). Thankfully, they have used violence sparingly and have kept it confined to their intended targets when they do strike. They were migrating West, but the Oil bust brought most back. Not impossible that they have some members out East looking for "opportunities".
