Most decent VOIP services are not much cheaper, and when you include the higher cost of 2 play vs. 3 play it makes little sense to go the VOIP route |

name brand VOIP should have the same taxes, the days are over for no-tax VOIP unless your going with a start up
You have to compare the $24 Verizon cost to what you can get with VOIP and don't forget the cost if you go down to double play ( $27 in discounts vs $54 I believe it shows on the Verizon website) |
