to an extent, yes.. but i've seen some posts from mafia that they get around lying by manipulating it some. I'm sure they lied at one point but sometimes they can get away with a sly answer that isn't really a lie. Can picture it in my head but can't think of the exact words.

Early (or sometimes late) in the Game, when we have almost no information, that's one way to push a Lynch. It's weird because the Mafia can use it just as well as the Town.

There is only one thing I've found that the mafia consistently does.
Can you tell me what it is?

Probably same for me... and that would make for one messed up game.

I don't know why it strikes me odd, but everyone is like "mafia always does this"... so don't think new people who come will be SURE not to do those things? I just think its funny.. even reading the faq's etc when I first got here. Then even joining the army game as my first one, everyone is like "that person is quiet, must be mafia", or "that person did that, must be mafia". :P I'm going to sit there and post once a day in a game just to get lynched and be a townie just to prove you all wrong hah.

That's funny, I was Mafia too in my first Game. It was a lot of fun.

I've been mafia in the newbie C9 with Yock, but that was my first game. I was also mafia in the Deathy, but that was a different format.

I'll be the same; I'll just have to think more before I post.

That would probably be pretty interesting.

I wonder if Kris or Antonica would act observably different if they were Mafia. How hard would it be to pick them out?
