| reply to Archivis Re: [game] Werewolf
I think being Town is a lot easier than being Mafia, but I find being Mafia more fun. Pushing a Lynch on a Townie or defending yourself against accusations is more work, but more rewarding when it works. -- "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. | reply to Rook008 No, I said that it shouldn't help you. Anytime there's a standardized PM going out you're going to be able to leverage it to your advantage. That's what the warning about the role names was on the first post. I suspected someone might try and be clever by asking if someone was a "Townie." The first person to answer in the affirmative would be a known werewolf.
When TheRul expressed that his role PM said he was "not guilty" several people picked up on this and confirmed him. I penalized him for it by making him a role that had to get lynched. I didn't bank on everyone effectively forgetting that they confirmed him. -- Have more fun with your GPS. Geocaching.com |

| I believe that he was confirmed innocent, but when you made him a jester, he went all over the radar.
All it took was two townies to jump on him. Even though it took 6 out of 10 to lynch, only 2 townies had to jump and the four of us could hammer. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson -

| reply to yock From what you Posted about despising breaking strategies, and that the Role PM wasn't evidence, it basically undid Therul's Claim of Not Guilty. Why did you think we wouldn't Lynch him if his "confirmation" is negated by Mod action?
And why a Jester? In a Game where there is so little information, we would just about Lynch anyone for any small slip. Making him a Jester in a basic Game like this, and so far into the Game, doesn't make sense to me. -- "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. | reply to Rook008 Again, I didn't say that the role PMs weren't evidence, I said you shouldn't use them as such. Nonetheless, people did, so I addressed it.
Might I add that you were one of the people claiming to know what he meant, trying to make yourself look innocent. -- Have more fun with your GPS. Geocaching.com |

| said by Jim :Innocent would have been best imo. But, oh well. Water/ bridge and all that. Yep, I'm just going to put myself into a state of denial, assume TheRul was an innocent from the start and that we got him lynched and would have had a successful night kill since the whiny doc was dead. That'd be 4 wolves, 4 town, game over. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson -

Edit: And of course I would pretend to know what he meant, I was Mafia trying to blend in. If someone references a Role PM, that's an easy way for me to blend in. |
