| reply to Dezbend said by Dezbend :I hate to say it. +1 to Rook Haha!
Anyway, I'm not fond of Recruiting Mafias because they are hard to catch, and if they Recruit later in the Game, "proven" Townies may get turned. I was hoping this wasn't a Recruiting Game, so I was glad to see those lines in the Flavor text. After reading Drew's post, I was like "huh?"
I'll probably chalk it up to a mistake for now, but you know how Day 1 goes. Mistakes can be costly early. -- "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken

| reply to Rook008 The day 1 games have been getting stale. I've been voting for the inactives, for sheer mechanics, but if I have only suspicion to go on, drew may be the only one to have screwed up on day 1.
My vote on Lineage is comical right now (like most day 1 votes). I think unless someone screws up worse than drew, it's probably best to just try and pressure the inactives to talk. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson -

| I've been doing the same, Jim. On top of that, "recruiting one person a night" doesn't even make sense.
If you can only kill 1 a day and they can recruit 1 at night, you would never kill off all the werewolves. How does that even make sense? He had to have made that up. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson -

| No.
I read the flavor on my iPod Touch while sitting on the toilet at 7:00AM.
I made the post analyzing the flavor (without going back and re-reading) a couple hours later.

| reply to TheRul In a "standard" Mafia Game, I read through the opening Flavor text. In any Game that is billed as different, or that I think may be Crazy or different, I tend to look at the Text more carefully. The lines in this Game's opening I looked at carefully to see what I could see, and to try and get an idea of whether or not Recruiting was going to be taking place (I'm not a big fan of Recruiting Games).
Drew's comment seemed to contradict two parts of the opening Flavor Text, so I figured I'd point it out. I also like to post early what I think we're dealing with, and hear other Player's thoughts. -- "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H.
