Nonetheless, considering sat access as comparable to, say U-Verse is freakin' disgusting. C'mon AT&T grab some ADSL2+ DSLAMs, put AdrenaLine on them and run your 6152 dSL out to underserved areas. It's not next-gen but it's a heckuva lot better than satellite. |

San Antonio, TX | Basic RTs probably are pretty cheap, but that is not the problem. The problem is population density. My parents hae fiber running in front of their house, but ATT is not going to tap to serve the 10 homes that are within 1000 feet of where they would put an rt.
Rural is far better served by wireless. |
