These problems are the same for any ISP - or other services for that matter
Of all the install nightmares that I've seen reported here over the years, Comcast by far seems to be the worst. There have been
explosions,
napping on the job,
another explosion, and even
double murder. While all the instances were contractors and not direct employees of Comcast, they all are entities that are responsible to Comcast. Many other companies use contractors to service their customers, and you don't see numerous issues reported with them here.
To tell you the truth, I can't remember seeing TWO issues with the same company where property was destroyed to the degree that Comcast contractors have been reported on. Coincidence? Or corporate culture?
Or maybe just selective reporting by the Consumerist and BBR.
