OK, Hanging around here has made me find the gear that was stored in the milk-crate in the garage and consider getting active again. I have ample room for an antenna, but power lines cross the back yard diagonally making it difficult to put up any major sized antennas or even dipoles for that matter. I have found the Tak-Tenna »www.tak-tenna.com which looks interesting. Has anyone worked any stations using one of these? Any opinions? TIA
I saw those high marks which peaked my curiosity, but then I saw a couple of entries where there was a 2 S-unit increase using a dipole... I guess I'm looking for the proverbial full-sized performance in a compact design!

Yep, until they repeal a couple of Laws of Physics, you'll never get full-size performance from a very compact antenna. -- One man's Magic is another man's Engineering.
