I'm continuing this over here. On my wireless router, I have this screen:
However, somewhere on my iMac, and NOT on Airport utility, I've seen a pulldown menu with the SAME type of options: WEP and WPA, but now I can't remember where it is. Once I enter an encryption key on my router, I will also have to enter it on my Mac and since I don't know where the pulldown menu is, I won't be able to enter it on my Mac. If I'm wrong and it is in fact in Airport utility, that won't work either because it won't discover wireless devices. So, once I've entered an encryption key into the router, I have no idea what to do next on my Mac. Also, I still don't no what the best, least hackable type of encryption is. -- »Check this out! |

| It would be this menu. It will detect security automatically. |
