Re: Good news said by jammmin:Cablevision's base speed has been 15/2 for quite sometime now. They also offer up to 101 meg down with its Docsis 3.0 service. It should be noted, however, that Cablevision's 101mb down requires a $300 activation fee, at this time. Speed tests seem very good from those that have jumped on the boat early. I won't do it - I'm actually quite happy with CV's 30/5 Boost package right now - for the price. $39. When my contract expires in January 2010, I hope Verizon has put fiber on the street. A little competition is necessary (for me) to keep what I pay low.
