Re: Is Wave broadcasting in ADS?

Dean,

We are in the process of completing our digital simulcast upgrade of the system in West Sacramento. All local channels today are currently simulcast in a digital format via fiber feeds from the local broadcast studios . We use Motorola DCT 62XX and DCH set top boxes.

Hi, I currently have cable internet with Wave Broadband here in West Sacramento, and I am thinking of adding Limited basic TV so I can get the locals and some of the local HD channels since they are not encrypted.

My question is, does Wave have All Digital Simulcast yet?

I wouldn't mind getting an HD box to get the On Demand and would like to see some of the local channels in digital instead of grainy analog.

Also, what kind of HD boxes do they use?

I saw on their site that they have manuals for their old Motorola DCT 6200 boxes, those things are buggy as hell and really huge, was hoping they use smaller converter boxes. Their customer service is good but they don't know anything, they couldn't answer my questions. Thanks for your input.
