| Using 2wire router/modem with pocket pc
Hi,
I'm using a 2Wire modem/router provided to me by telus.
While I've been able to get it connected with all of my PCs (via wired), I'd like to be able to use my pocket pc mobile to connect to the wireless too.
The pocket PC is able to see the 2wire connection and connect to it, but when I try to go to a webpage it always says "the page cannot be found". In addition, on the 2wire page it shows the wireless devices connected as "0".
How can I fix this problem ? Thanks ! |

on the 2wire page it shows the wireless devices connected as "0". Can you post a image of "0" Check the mac address of "0" it should match the pocket pc's mac address |

@telus.net | Hi,
Sorry, by "0" i meant the 2wire device said zero devices were connected to it via wireless.
Unfortunately I don't know where I can find the mac address in my pocket pc. thanks again |

| reply to funnytim Unless you changed security settings, the default WEP key is probably on the 2Wire label if it is anything like my AT&T 2701HG-B.
I have no trouble connecting and using my wireless-b Palm TX to that (with other mixed g and b wireless clients). Of course it does not do Windows, so it just shows up by its IP address on the 2Wire, not a netbios name. |
