Re: Best modem for Windstream DSL - problems with SS 4200 Yikes, I jumped to the wrong conclusion thinking we were lucky to be getting so much speed with my readings.
Strangely enough it was Windstream who told me we were close enough for the 12.0 Mbps, our building used to be tel co sub-station which moved down the street, and still has an unused server/switch room and fibre.
Is there anything I could press Windstream to do to improve our SNR & Attenuation, or should I just request they throttle it to 3.0 Mbps and start pushing for cable to come to the building?
Our latency can also range from 28ms up to 358ms in various readings.
This is about a weeks data from our DSLreports Line Monitoring posted in csv format above the photo.
Your help and expertise is greatly appreciated! I have a lot to learn. |
