Re: Best modem for Windstream DSL - problems with SS 4200 If the lines were never conditioned for DSL there may be some things that can be done, but generally Attenuation is an electrical measurement of distance so there isn't much you can do most of the time since buildings and equipment aren't mobile/movable to reduce the distance of any consequence.
