Yes but look at the existing infrastructure of Japan compared to the United States. I garantee you those speeds won't be extended to the rural areas. Since you're so keen on numbers, look up the percentage of rural areas in the United States compared to Japan. (sorry for everyone whose already seen this conversation happen many times on dslr, i just had to point it out)
