kudos:4 | The inflation predicted this fall will be due to a combination between increased prices for goods and decreased income. A house worth more is only worth more at time of sale: either to a buyer or a bank. Both have reduced interest in buying this fall. Inflation this fall is going to do nothing but raise your taxes, your milk, your gas, your etc... In fact, I heard one economist state inflation will be so bad this fall we may begin taxing volumes of oxygen consumed. |

What I do know is that inflation is reflected in the increased cost of goods, which is the result in an increased cost of labor, which is where I get my income. So yes, in the long run, I welcome it.
Inflation and deflation can both be good or bad, depending on how you situate yourself in the market.
