Thanks for the help. I had tech support on line for about an hour and they were pretty useless. I downloaded and applied the upgrade but still receiving 401 error messages. Any ideas? Thanks.
did you power cycle your modem / remember just turning it off won't do it; you have to use a pen or paper clip to push in on the reset button. did you disconnect the phone jack for 30 seconds did you use menu advanced users - restart on the softphone i usually reboot. ALSO:If you added the vista update you will need to do all the above little things the mj tech's are not very bright about; what do you expect the cheapskate that invented this to give u as tech support

Why go through all that work for the magicjack? If you are browsing the internet just fine and magicjack isn't working I would question magicjack first, before resetting your dsl modem and reconnecting. That would be just unnecessary.
