They don't support it because that's not proper DNS.
If someone asks for ww33.yourdomain.com, the DNS server should query: 1. root dns - what are NS for .com 2. .com DNS - what are NS for yourdomain.com 3. yourdomain.com DNS - what are NS for ww33.yourdomain.com
So you need to run your own DNS servers (or outsource) to get this working.
I used to use www.dyndns.org CustomDNS, their expert interface will let you set this up, it's $27.50/domain/year
I now run my own DNS servers, so it's unnecessary. |

Will check out the CustomDNS - thanks for the suggestion. Didn't know they offered such a service, always thought dyndns was mostly for home users wanting to run services. |
