Worked for a split second at the airport but never again. It sucks because I hav. A few offline maps that I can't use location services on because they rely on part on wifi or cell signals to get an initial fix. I haven't tried it out yet but everything else on the phone is functioning normally, ex camera, visual voicemail etc. <br><br>I too am kind of concerned about billing. Have sent and received from people on AT&T and Verizon with no issues.<br><br>However.. the tethering option appears in my settings menu. When I enable it and connect to my PC it works for about 3 minutes then the connection drops and the tethering option disappears from the settings menu. If I re-load the carrier file from benm.at it comes back, but just disappears after a few minutes again.. anyone else experiencing this?<br><br>-Mike]]></description>

I'll charge it at night and it will be fine the next morning but stay at 100%. I had to pair the MBP with the iPhone; at the conclusion of that process, it said it was creating the net "Personal Area Network" which shows up in my list of networks.<br><br>I was unable to connect to the phone as long as my BT mouse was on, however. Once I turned that off, it worked great. I just turned the mouse on again and both appear to be working. Yay! :D<br><br>Still no luck with the MMS thing, however.]]></description>

I know if you plug an iPhone into Windows without iTunes installed, the correct drivers aren't installed. I'm not sure if Vista and Windows 7 come with the correct drivers, I just ASSumed that since the iPhone in tethering mode was automatically picked up and installed as a "Apple Mobile Device Ethernet" -- and the driver was provided by Apple on 4/30/2009 (netappl64.sys), that iTunes installed it.]]></description>

I don't think it's a PC thing as the Dell Laptop I tried last night did not work either.  I'm going on a trip for a week tonight and the iMac is coming too so hopefully this will work.  I would still like to know if there is something special I have to do to set the iMac up to use this connection.  SOmething I need to make sure is turned on?<br><br><b>*Edit*</b>  Ok, to further add to the madness, I tried it out on another PC and it did not recognize it as a ethernet connection.  I believe my iMac and PC laptop to be up to date so why is it picking and choosing which computer it works with or is it something that needs to be installed on these computers to get this to work.  Does anyone have an answer?<br><br>Side note - the one PC it worked on, I got almost 1MB download speed, and just shy of 400KB upload with 5 bars of 3G.  Not too bad considering.]]></description>

Then, from the BT menu, go down to your iPhone, and from the submenu select "Connect to iPhone." I'm wondering if one could edit that list to unlock the phone.<br><br>Anyway, if you rename the IPCC file to .zip, you can then double click it to unzip it and get a .bundle file. Open that up and you get to a carrier.plist file. Under apns, #1 is wap.cingular, whereas #3 is acds.voicemail. But they just might consider the tethering a theft of service. The only reason AT&T is holding off on letting us US customers officially have it is because they're trying to figure out a pricing scheme (and I should emphasize "scheme") for the product. <description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/461189"><b>DavisPhotog</b></A> : I can verify that the setup and the tethering connection works.<br><br>The only thing is that I don't live in a neighborhood that has good 3G reception and it seems you need to have a 3G signal for it to work. As it stands, through Bluetooth, both the computer and the iPhone will acknowledge the connection.<br><br>Can't wait to try this out somewhere with 3G.
