West End Vancouver SLOOWWwww?

Anyone else noticing their internet connection slow down to an absolute crawl in the West End? Like well under 100 kbps in the evening and sometimes in the morning before work? Both my friend and I live West of Denman and are both hardly able to surf. Loading a basic web page takes well over 30 seconds!
Do they have such limited capacity into this area? They go and gain market share, i.e., have 60 000 people subscribe to a 30mbps pipe and now it's just useless?

Re: West End Vancouver SLOOWWwww?

The proxy server is acting weird, if you are using shaw's proxy it might be the main cause for slow website performance.

westended

i got a new subnet yesterday. from the 24. block to the 174. block now.

speed test is saying i am in Brandon.MB but am getting good speed right now.

try disconnecting the router completly (all cables) let it sit for a min or 2 and then reconnect it. it should grab a new ip and flush all the crap...
