| Yes, they are for rent. But coming back from Pigeon Forge up the steep roads with no guard rail did not seem like a good choice for the average person. Imagine returning late from DollyWood in the dark! We stayed in a different cabin barely off the main road in Sevierville. Pretty much as nice IMHO, but no mountain view.
Had to check them out for friends.

clubs: | I went up Mt. Washington in a car - on the passenger side, which was terrifying to me, so I know what you are talking about. Though I would probably just park myself inside it. Are they part of a resort, or are they individual rentals? |

Many on the hill were from the same rental service, but I think others were independently managed. A bigger one, not up in the hills seemed even better (Sleeps 24 I think, two hot tubs, across from a pool, 2 floor full wrap around porches.) But with the economy of our families, the Mother-In-Law canceled for now. They were looking at covering the stay, and we just had to get there. The plan was a big family reunion one year prior to their 50th anniversary. Next year may prove more feasible! Heather and I drove down with another couple that have been friends for years to check out the area. It was an awesome week!
